Solicitation Materials (for getting volunteers and donors)

Skype - for making long distance calls overseas for free; you need a cheap headset and Internet connection; invaluable for keeping in contact with the high school kids and teachers you sponsor through GILAS
Jajah - similar to Skype; but you don't need a headset, just your regular landline phone or mobile phone
Freeware - this is a link to some of the best free software available for word processing, spreadsheets, email, graphics, telephony, etc
PDF995 - for converting word processing documents into PDF format for that more polished look
PDFOnline - you can use this online utility to convert your Word, Powerpoint or other document into PDF format; no need to download any software like pdf995 above
Wordpress - free blogging software for those of you who would like to opine or whine online about anything (hopefully about GILAS and this issues we are facing in wiring the nation's public high schools). Check out the GILAS volunteers blog which uses Wordpress.
